Manjyo Mirin was first produced and marketed in 1814. Close to the soy sauce in Noda, Chiba prefecture, white sweet sake was born in Nagareyama, Chiba prefecture. The name "Manjyo" was derived from the poem written by the second owner of the brewery as "Pride of the region must be this, brewing sweet sake tastes second to none."
It once for drinking but has varied for cooking use, and has become popular for every household. This is one of the primary products parallel to Kikkoman Soy Sauce. This is a traditional stuff perpetually contributing to Japanese food culture.
