組合員100万人を有する国内最大の生協「生活協同組合コープこうべ」の名称変更にともなうCI計画です。
来るべき21世紀へ向けて、次代の組合員が活動への夢やロマンを継承できる新しい生協づくり、ということがプロジェクトの大きなテーマでした。
シンボルマークに描かれた2つの図形は、人と人、組合員とコープこうべ、コープこうべと他の生協など、あらゆるもののやわらかな共生を表し、これらを結びつける「CO-OP」の文字が、愛と協同を理念とするコープこうべの役割を示しています。

The message of love and cooperation through which people gently live together.
This Corporate Identity Project was implemented for the new name of the organization "CO-OPERATIVE KOBE" that is a largest cooperative organization in Japan with a million members.
By structuring a new co-op, through that coming generation would be able to succeed the hope of the activities toward twenty first century, was the broad theme of the project.
A pair of graphic forms of the Symbol Mark expresses gentle coexistence of everything. Between people, its members and the CO-Op. KOBE, the CO-OP KOBE and other co-ops and further to the world. And between daily lives and production, man and nature and the like. The letters "CO-OP KOBE", connecting those elements, displays its role with the idea of love and cooperation.
