Travel style of Japanese could be originated in Edo period (1600 - 1860). Primary emotion of travel was to enjoy talking with passersby, cuisine, landscape and the like while its purposes were pilgrimage to shrines, pleasure in spas and others.
DougoKan Visual Project was developed with a concept of "road," essence of travel, and the theme of "Edo," the origin of travel Japanese style. The Symbol Mark expresses "tour," "wave," "hospitality." In the Signage Plan, presentation themes such as "clan's residence, " "night stall," "big store" were taken from "Edo," and form, material and color were decided accordingly.
