日本の伝統的な食文化を継承する紀文食品は、2004年から競合他社との明確な差別化を図るために「江戸前」を全面に打ち出す施策を展開しています。そもそも江戸の蒲鉾職人が小田原蒲鉾を発達させたことや江戸時代の蒲鉾は「鯛入り」が主流であったことなどにちなみ、鯛入り蒲鉾を商品の主軸に「江戸前」らしい装いで統一イメージを図りました。商品名ロゴは堂々とした江戸文字の相撲文字やお家流書体を用い、背景のパターンも江戸風を意識しています。年末の短期間商戦に勝ち得る店頭インパクトとハレのお正月を彩る華やかさや高級感も求められました。
KIBUN FOODS INC., succeeding Japanese traditional food culture, has been developing its sales policy appealing "Edo Style" in all front since 2004 to clearly differentiate competitors. After its history originally a workman of steamed fish paste in Edo era developed Odawara style paste with the major ingredient of sea bream, unified image looking like "Edo Style" was intended. The logo design of the product name was inspired by magnificent Sumo characters of Edo era and Oie School style characters, and the background pattern was also inspired by Edo style characters. Both consist of shop front impact for wining short time but competitive sales and brightness and high grade feeling were required.
