お茶という日本伝統の品をギフト化するにあたって現代的な解釈を追求したパッケージです。
　アルミの銀地とプラスチックの艶消し黒がかもしだす、工業製品でありながら、利休好みに通じるデザインが、中身を使い切った後もなお、捨てるには惜しく、家庭内にとどめさせ、茶やその他の容器道具として利用を促すことを意図しています。市場での商品寿命とはちがう意味での長寿化の価値を潜めています。

This is the package that sought interpretation of a Japanese traditional product into today's gift oriented merchandise.
Though it was an industrialized product, the design with the tea master Rikyu's taste was expressed in the texture of silver aluminum and mat plastic black. The design was intended to encourage a good after use of it as a container and a utensil that too good to discard and being left in a home. The design had a potential value of longer life to be used different from the meaning of the life of a product in market.
