この様な"定番"商品が生まれにくい状況下で、コーヒー飲料「カフェ ラ モード」は、じっくり育てる商品の位置づけでデザイン開発が行われました。
今年で8年目を迎えるパッケージの顔は、4回のリニューアルを行っています。
市場は、メジャーブランド訴求型から徐々に個々のメニュー訴求型に移行し、さらに現在は、製法訴求型、素材訴求型、ブランド訴求型が混在する状況になってきています。
Canned beverage market is widely diversifying and varying. The remarkable product development to respond to such market demand has taken place. Under the market situation in which a flag ship product was hard to be materialized, coffee drink "Cafe La Mode" was positioned as a product steadily nurtured, and so design development was done. The expression of the package, having fifth anniversary this year, has come through minor change for three times.
The market had gradually transformed from appealing major brand to that of respective menus. So Cafe La Mode was changed to appeal a preparation method called "roasted by Bincho charcoal," and its brand expression was renovated in complying with the changing market situation.
