The Signage Planning for EXPO'70 became the topic for the project approached in full scale as a first Signage Project for general public in our country.
Many trials and proposals were made such as the layout plan of sign information logically induced from visitors' traffic plan, the sign system by specially planned calligraphic style, the attention on pictograph and so on. Master plan: GK Industrial Design Associates (core office), Arata Isozaki (joined with total site plan), Shigeo Fukuda (joined with graphic plan)
