新潟市が、 郊外と都心部を結ぶバス路線を再編し、 都心部に導入する新たな交通システム「BRT（Bus Rapid Transit）」のトータルデザイン。
GK設計、 GKインダストリアルデザイン、 GKグラフィックスが、 連節車両をはじめ、 郊外路線とBRT路線の乗り換え拠点となるターミナル、 BRT駅、 シンボルカラーやロゴなどのデザインを担当した。
新潟の資源である夕陽から朱赤を基調として統一性を持たせるなど、 明示性、 快適性、 地域性、 先進性を基本方針に展開した。

Total design for the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) which is being introduced by the Niigata city government to connect the city center and suburbs of Niigata city by re-organizing the existing bus routes. GK Sekkei, GK Industrial Design, and GK Graphics were assigned to design connecting trains, terminal stations to connect suburban routes and BRT routes, BRT stations, symbol color and logo. From the attractive setting sun of Niigata, vermilion was chosen as a key color to give the sense of unity to all elements. Our basic design policy was to express clarity, comfort, locality, and innovativeness.
