ICSID会議は2年に1度、加盟団体国で開催されます。ワシントンで開催された本会議は、各国のデザインの実態や考え方を披瀝しあうことを目的とし、会議に併行して展覧会が開催されたました。GKは提案テーマを「コスミック・カルーセル─永遠なる創造への挑戦」と題して、宇宙、環境、モノ、情報、ヒトの織り成す曼荼羅世界を具体的に表現展示しました。

ICSID Congress is held biennially organized and hosted by a member association representing designers in a nation.
The congress held in Washington aimed at exchanging ideas and situations of participating associations and an exhibition was held parallel to the congress. Titled as "Cosmic Carousel - eternal challenge to creative work," GK Design Group exhibited a Mandela world in which relations between cosmos, environment, materials, information and man were delineated.
