「年鑑日本の空間デザイン」は、国内の優れた空間デザインを集録した書物です。本計画は、表紙はもとより本文頁を含めてより質の高いものにし、各賞のイメージを高めることを目的として依頼されました。
　表紙においては、公共空間における情報伝達を主眼に刻まれたローマ時代の碑文の文字を使用して、空間のデザインに関わる書物であることとその品位を表現しました。また、本文頁においては、綿密なグリッドシステムと、ローマ時代に碑文に因んだアカンサスの文様によって独自の品質を追求しました。

"Yearbook Space Design of Japan" is the book compiling an excellent domestic space design. The project was commissioned with the purpose to promote the image of each award by raising quality of the editorial design not only the cover but also the body copy.In the cover, it was expressed that the book was about space design and its grade by using a letter in an inscription of roman era mainly for conveying information in public space. Also in the page of body copies, characteristic quality was sought by thorough grid system and Acanthus pattern was designed after Roman era inscription.
