GKグラフィックスでは、毎年3月頃に全国の学生を対象としたスチューデントセミナーを開催しています。
約4日という限られた時間の中で、デザインを制作するワークショップを行います。架空の企業のVIデザインや実際の土地を題材にした地域活性プロジェクトのデザインなど、さまざまな課題にインストラクターとともに取り組みます。対象の調査や、その結果を共有するグループディスカッションを経て、最終日には個人で仕上げた作品のプレゼンテーションと講評を行います。
また、これを通して現場のデザインプロセスや、作品のクオリティアップなどを体感できるよう、カリキュラムを工夫しています。
2021年はコロナ禍での開催となったため、全日程をオンラインで行いました。
Every year around March, GK Graphics holds a seminar for students from all over Japan.
In the limited time of approximately 4 days, students take part in a design workshop. Together with instructors they work on a variety of assignments, such as designing a VI for a fictional company or a community revitalization project situated in an actual location. After research on the subject, the input is shared in group discussions, then the design work is done individually and finished for presentations and critiques on the final day of the workshop.
The curriculum is also designed for the students to experience the actual design process in business, and the sense of design quality improvement of their own projects.
In 2021, the entire program was held online under the COVID pandemic.
